Your results: free for commercial use

The numbers, tables, calculation steps and printouts you produce with the calculators on this site (“your results”) are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial work, royalty-free and worldwide. You may copy them into quotes, proposals, design notes, load calculations, service records, training material and publications, and share them with customers or colleagues. No attribution or credit is required.

Two limits: material by third parties that is listed on the credits page keeps its own licence; and you may not copy, resell, mirror or repackage the site itself, its code, its calculators or its design as a competing tool or service, or use automated tools to copy the site in bulk or to overload it.

Estimates, not certified calculations

The calculators are for planning and estimation. They are not certified calculations and do not replace the applicable electrical code (such as the NEC, BS 7671 or IEC 60364), the equipment manufacturer’s data, or a design by a qualified person. Check critical designs independently before you rely on them.

No warranty

We test the calculators against independently calculated reference values, but mistakes can happen; check anything important before you rely on it. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Content and licences

The site’s design, text and code are © PowerGridSource. Third-party material is listed with its licence on the credits page, and that licence applies to it.

Advertising and third-party services

The site may show advertising and may use visit statistics. These are described in the privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
